Billy Goats Pick Up 2-1 Win

Grazing Hills hosted a real pitchers' duel.
Iiri Lahti could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Boston Patriots lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Colorado Billy Goats at Grazing Hills. Gregory Collins picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 5-6.
Freek Derksen put Colorado in front, 2-0, when he hit a solo home run off Iiri Lahti in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 11th home run of the season.
"Both teams played hard," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary.
The Billy Goats saw their win-loss record go to 33-41. At the same time, the Patriots fell to 43-31.
