Ghosts Reel Off Another Win
|
The Casper Ghosts got a magnificent effort from pitcher Tom Hancock, who kept Westwood hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Ghosts win at Sixshooters Stadium. Corbin Dundee was credited with the save for Casper, his 15th of the season. The winning continues for Casper, with the latest making it 7 straight.
Tomás Ventura tagged a home run off Juan Estéves in the top of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Ghosts on top, 3-1. In all, Ventura had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I believe in our guys," said Casper skipper Burton Storey. "I like the energy they're playing with."
