Pilgrims Drop Polar Bears, 2-1
|
Providence Pilgrims starter Roger Raper turned in an exceptional performance against the Billings Polar Bears at The Igloo, resulting in a Providence win, 2-1. Providence is now 13-9.
Jesús Serrano, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Serrano contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Providence up, 2-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Raper told the Providence Herald.
