Battery Rally to Eke Out Win
|
In a tight affair between the Charleston Battery and the St. Louis Coeur, pitcher Paul Haines was in the zone. The Charleston left-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Rafael Pérez was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. Charleston, at 49-38, sits in 4th place in the Third League.
The Coeur had few good swings against Haines, the left-hander, who threw 105 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just no runs on 2 hits.
