Knights Pick Up 4-2 Win Over D.C.
|
Kingston Township rode a good effort from starter Nick Long to beat the D.C. Divided at Washington Stadium. The final score was 4-2. With the win, the Knights improved to 41-40.
The Knights grabbed the lead in the top of the fifth. With one out, Steve Miller hit a 2-run home run off Stanford Thompson, putting Kingston Township in front, 3-0. For Miller, it was his 12th home run of the season.
"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Long.
