Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter Hakizimana Kipkorir kept the Montana Pandas hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. Mike Allen got the save, the 9th for him this season. The Northern Lions BC are now 28-31, while the Pandas fall to 36-23.

The game could have flipped with no one out in the top of the fourth. But Hakizimana Kipkorir made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 2nd and Montana trailing 2-0, Kipkorir threw a fastball to Gaballah Murunga and Murunga hit into a double play.
