Bowties Get 4-1 Win Versus Long Island
Buckhead Bowties starter Uhi Ahipene was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Long Island Lighthouse, 4-1. Walt Gould nailed down his 12th save. The win puts the Bowties at 21-22, while the Lighthouse drop to 23-20.

The Bowties got an important contribution from third baseman Basilio Penni, who in the bottom of the fifth knocked a full count fastball into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Bowties ahead, 3-1.

"I like what I saw today," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
