Behind the hitting of Tomás Ventura, the Casper Ghosts stopped the Billings Polar Bears, 9-7. Ventura went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Ghosts. The Ghosts, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.

Casper used the clutch hitting of Horace O'Reilly to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 9-7. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," O'Reilly told the Casper Citizen.
