The Flyers grabbed a win, 4-3, at Drummers Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Tortolita pitcher Iban Wilson. Wilson went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The 4th-place Flyers now have a win-loss record of 49-52.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Andrew McCaffery came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Tortolita pitcher Apaghana Shachi, he hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Pennsauken on top, 4-2.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Tortolita manager Barrett Abbott. "But we decided not to take it."
