Sunset District Fog starter Thad Phillips turned in an exceptional performance against the Pennsauken Flyers at Fog Park, resulting in a Sunset District win, 4-2. Sunset District reliever Ken Hayes was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Stephen Reed took the loss. Picking up the save was Frank Courtney, his 3rd.

Clive Swanton took Stephen Reed deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Fog on top, 3-2. In all, Swanton had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

After the game, Sunset District manager Luis Ríos applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

Sunset District, now 34-51, holds down last place in the Silver AAA.
