Golden Cranes Need Extra Innings to Top Dogfish Head, 9-5
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes topped the Milton Dogfish Head by a score of 9-5. Leading the way was left fielder Gabriel Quintana. Quintana went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Golden Cranes. Bryan Griffin converted his 6th save in 7 tries. With the win, the Golden Cranes have a record of 38-45.

Santa Barbara used the timely hitting of Santiago Harmon to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Golden Cranes on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Santa Barbara manager Doug Green.
