Gaufi Leads Billy Goats to 6-4 Win Over Kingfishers
|
The Colorado Billy Goats beat the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 6-4, at Pittsburgh Grounds. The Billy Goats got a fine performance from first baseman Alanzo Gaufi, who was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Gregory Collins. His record is now 4-5. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits for the Billy Goats.
