Pajaritos Need Extra Frames to Get Past Fog
|
Norfolk left fielder Keith Atkins had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Sunset District Fog, 7-6. Norfolk reliever Alex Richardson picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Frank Courtney shouldered the loss. Norfolk has now won 3 straight, while the Fog have lost 3 in a row.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Norfolk trailing 6-5, Atkins hit a fastball from Frank Courtney for a 2-run home run, giving the Pajaritos the walk-off win.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Atkins.
