Ft. Myers Marlins starter Luke Robb was in fine form against the Sunset District Fog at Fog Park, leading his team to a win, 5-3. The winning pitcher was Robb, now 2-2. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Picking up the save was William Kelly, his 9th.

Ft. Myers used a clutch hit from Jesús Velázquez to snatch the win. The third baseman belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Marlins ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Velázquez told the Ft. Myers Citizen.

The 7th-place Marlins are 34-44.
