Black Mambas Get Dramatic 5-4 Win
The Austin Black Mambas beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-4, in part because of right fielder Raymond Parsons. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Austin reliever Mike Tate got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Frank Cunningham was tagged with the loss. Austin, now 33-36, holds down 5th place in the Silver AAA.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Austin trailing 4-3, Parsons hit a fastball from Frank Cunningham for a 2-run home run, giving the Black Mambas the walk-off win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Parsons said.
