The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes weathered a fine game by Milton center fielder Bobby Norris to upend the Dogfish Head, 4-3, at Crane Field. Norris went 3-4 with 2 home runs. Bryan Griffin earned the save, his 2nd. Santa Barbara occupies 8th place in the Silver AAA at 30-38.

Sergio Rivera took Claudio Ortega deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Golden Cranes on top, 3-1. In all, Rivera had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Milton manager Gonzalo Velásquez said following the tough loss.
