Rivera Lifts Golden Cranes to 9-5 Triumph
Santa Barbara designated hitter Sergio Rivera made his presence felt in the 9-5 Golden Cranes triumph over the Milton Dogfish Head. Rivera went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Santa Barbara reliever Mike Vanderbilt picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tom Young shouldered the loss. With this game in the books, Santa Barbara is 29-38, Milton 43-24.

In the bottom of the sixth, Rivera put his team in front with his 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Tom Young, made it 8-5, Santa Barbara.
