He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up no walks. With the win, Austin goes to 31-35, while the Buzz fall to 25-41.

The Black Mambas grabbed the lead in the top of the eighth. With two out, Octávio Obezo hit a solo home run off Robinson Espinoza, putting Austin in front, 5-1. For Obezo, it was his 4th home run of the season.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Sanders.
