Flyers Suffer 5-2 Setback
The Austin Black Mambas got a strong performance from pitcher Edemona Babitu, who stymied the Pennsauken offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Pennsauken Park. Miguel Ávila, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. With the win, Austin raised its record to 18-18.

Austin needed the clutch hitting of Bruce Booth to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 18th inning to put the Black Mambas on top, 3-2. For the game, Booth had 1 home run and 2 singles in 8 at-bats.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Pennsauken manager Carlos Vela.
