Fog Knock Off Marlins at Fog Park
Starting pitcher Sanya Matlah was a major factor in the 4-2 Sunset District Fog triumph over the Ft. Myers Marlins. Earning his 1st save for Sunset District was Aubrey Curry. The Fog raised their record to 13-12.

The Marlins had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Fog going into the bottom of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old center fielder Bernard Blanchard came to the plate. Blanchard hit a 2-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Ft. Myers hurler Rob Anderson. It was Blanchard's 4th home run of the year.

"Nervous? No," said Blanchard. "It was my time to shine."
