The Austin Black Mambas got a good effort from starter Dan Sanders in defeating the Sunset District Fog at Mamba Park. The final score was 6-0. Sanders got the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Sanders allowed no runs. The loss lowers the Sunset District record to 11-9.
Donnie Haggard took William Kennedy deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Black Mambas on top, 2-0. In all, Haggard had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
