Milton Corner Tavern was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Pennsauken Flyers and Milton Dogfish Head.

Juan Cruz never let Pennsauken get something going. The Milton right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Dogfish Head to a 4-1 win. Cruz, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 1 run.

In the top of the eighth, U-ram Chong stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Flyers were trailing 4-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Manuel Gonzáles made a terrific pitch and Chong lined out. Gone was the dream of a Pennsauken comeback.

The win gives the Dogfish Head a record of 9-2.
