Patriots Suffer 4-3 Loss to Voodoo
The New Orleans Voodoo picked up a win at Dunkin Donuts Park, knocking off the Boston Patriots, 4-3. On the mound for New Orleans was right-hander Boris Milatovic, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 7.1 innings, Milatovic surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. The loss drops Boston to 3-2.

New Orleans used a clutch hit from Michizane Yamashita to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"It's a mindset," said Milatovic. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
