Fans watched the Sacramento Redlegs and the Baton Rouge Brass fight to the finish.
The Sacramento Redlegs scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Baton Rouge Brass at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Sacramento pitcher Tim O'Heyne held his own in the contest. O'Heyne went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-1.
Making an impact for the home team was Carlos Rosales. In the bottom of the fourth, the 25-year old center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Redlegs.
In postgame remarks, Rosales said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
