Dodos Knock Off Reserves at Dodos Ballpark

The Hialeah Dodos and Athletic Club KC Reserves played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Led by Cleaver Greene, the Hialeah Dodos downed the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 3-1. Greene went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Dodos. Gunner Cross closed the game out for Hialeah, earning his 12th save.
Paul Pitts made an early impact for Hialeah when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Dodos on top, 2-0.
Afterward, Dodos manager Billy Strauss was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
The Dodos' win now puts them at 35-31.
