Shredders Beat Colorado, 8-7
The Hollywood Shredders overcame a good performance by Colorado second baseman Chad Holland to knock off Colorado, 8-7, at Grazing Hills. Holland went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Reliever Arsen Campbell picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Virgil Gilbert took the loss. Amberlan Romubio closed the door for Hollywood, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Hollywood used the timely hitting of Miguel Bustamante to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shredders on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Shredders manager Bill Cheese wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

The win puts the Shredders at 20-25, while the Billy Goats drop to 20-25.
