The Hamilton Thunderbirds topped the Nashville Hot Chickens, 1-0, in M3L Triple A action at Hot Chickens Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hamilton pitcher Benoît Lambert. Hamilton reliever Darwin Donovan was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Alejandro Colón. Earning his 16th save for Hamilton was Gary Dillon.
Runs were scarce in this one. So, Flynn Ford's at-bat in the top of the tenth was vitally important. With two out, the Hamilton catcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 1-0 lead.
