The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys handed the Alaskan Humpbacks a sound defeat, 14-2, at The Zoo in Syracuse. Roberto Berganza was a main contributor to the win. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Syracuse. The Squirrel Monkeys now own a record of 25-21.

Bob Hargrove, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA in total bases with 85, came through for Syracuse with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
