Rainbeaus Absorb 4-0 Loss at Dodos Ballpark
|
Hialeah Dodos starter Eric Colquhoun pitched his team past the Kansas Rainbeaus, 4-0. Colquhoun went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 4-0. With the win, Hialeah goes to 20-18, while the Rainbeaus fall to 18-20.
The Rainbeaus had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Dodos going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old left fielder Tony Parra came to the plate. Parra hit a 2-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Kansas hurler Rich Frost. It was Parra's 5th home run of the year.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Parra.
