Another day, another victory for the red-hot Port Huron Blitzkrieg.

The Blitzkrieg grabbed a win, 9-7, at Plymouth Quarry, overcoming a fine effort from Plymouth pitcher Fernando Lujino. Lujino went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win belongs to Todd Montgomery in relief. His record improves to 3-0. George Law took the loss for Plymouth.

Port Huron used the clutch hitting of Zachary Spilsbury to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Blitzkrieg the lead, 9-7. For the game, Spilsbury had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Port Huron manager Jack Alexander.

Port Huron improves to 56-33 with the win. They lead their division by 6 games.
