Daddi Now 4-3 After Subduing Dodos
|
Timber Hawks Ballpark was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
The Monongahela Monsters did just enough to sneak past the Hialeah Dodos, 1-0, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Monongahela pitcher Renault Daddi, in particular, had a standout performance. Luis Boll nailed down his 7th save.
In his 94-pitch effort, Daddi allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Daddi.
With the win, Monongahela upped its record to 17-17.
