Nobles Snatch Late Win
|
The Hialeah Dodos and Bakersfield Nobles provided some drama for the home crowd.
With pinch hitter Miles Breeuwer leading the charge, the Bakersfield Nobles defeated the Hialeah Dodos, 4-3, at Jerome Grounds. Breeuwer was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. After today's action, Bakersfield sits at 14-14, while Hialeah falls to 15-13.
Breeuwer had a timely hit for Bakersfield in the bottom of the eighth. With Hialeah trailing 3-2, he turned a 0-1 sinker into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 4-3, Bakersfield.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Breeuwer told the Bakersfield Gazette.
