Blitzkrieg Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
The Bamboo Forest was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Port Huron Blitzkrieg.

Maikel de Braber added some punch to the Port Huron offense, helping them outmuscle the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 10-7. In the game, de Braber, who is rated as the 33rd best prospect by BNN, went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win belongs to Todd Montgomery in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Rodney Johnson took the loss for Sioux Falls. Rich Walker earned his 21st save in 26 chances.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until de Braber delivered big-time for Port Huron, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Rodney Johnson. The game-changing hit put the Blitzkrieg on top, 7-6.

de Braber said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."

The Blitzkrieg saw their record improve to 52-33.
