Billy Goats Win 5-4 Walk-Off

The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.
The Mississippi Mockingbirds got a sterling performance from pitcher Noud Taaij, but the Colorado Billy Goats still prevailed, 5-4. Taaij threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Colorado reliever Ronald Love picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Amin Yahouse absorbed the loss.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Colorado trailing 4-3, Alanzo Gaufi jumped on a first pitch fastball from Amin Yahouse for a 2-run home run, sending the Billy Goats to a walk-off win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Gaufi.
After today's action, Colorado sits at 18-21, while Mississippi falls to 25-14.
