The home crowd came to cheer on their first-place Port Huron Blitzkrieg.

The Port Huron Blitzkrieg beat the Vermont Lake Monsters by a score of 7-4. Port Huron catcher Zachary Spilsbury deserved the lion's share of the credit. Spilsbury went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Blitzkrieg. Port Huron is now 51-33, while Vermont is 42-42.

Danny Warren took Tsurayaki Tanaka deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run home run put the Blitzkrieg on top, 5-2. In all, Warren had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
