The Hialeah Dodos defeated the Baton Rouge Brass, 7-6, in USPL Triple A action at Dodos Ballpark. Hialeah pitcher Robert Joubert had a standout performance. Hialeah reliever Gunner Cross picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Shintaro Oyama shouldered the loss. With the win, Hialeah raised its record to 13-12.

Rich Dalzell was the walk-off hero for Hialeah. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodos center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," Dalzell said.
