Men Deal Lynx 4-3 Defeat
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Florida Men and Calgary Lynx.
Florida picked up a win at Lynx Stadium, toppling the Calgary Lynx, 4-3. Pitcher Pedro Negrón was one of the reasons the Men triumphed. Danny Antonio locked down his 20th save.
Florida relied on the hitting of Tak-keung Zha to pick up the win. The designated hitter ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Men on top, 3-2. For the game, Zha had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Zha. "Those qualities define our team."
With the win, Florida has a record of 35-47. Calgary falls to 38-44.
