The Sioux Falls Red Pandas got a strong performance from pitcher Alan Jackson, who stymied the Hamilton offense en route to a win, 8-2, at The Bamboo Forest. The winning pitcher was Jackson, now 6-9. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. With the win over Hamilton, the Red Pandas improved to 43-38.

The Red Pandas got an important contribution from third baseman Ken Francis, who in the bottom of the seventh knocked a 2-2 cutter into right for a bases-clearing double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Red Pandas ahead, 8-2.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Leonard Hall.
