Fighting Dachshunds Saddle Pride with 4-2 Loss
|
Ellenburg starter Jong-beom Park had a strong outing against the Hartford Pride at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. The winning pitcher was Park, now 7-5. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. The save went to Mario Ledezma, his 2nd this season.
Salvador Barrón contributed to the Ellenburg win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Jong-beom is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Ellenburg manager Justin Broadfoot.
The Fighting Dachshunds now have a record of 30-35.
