Hot Chickens Sink Thunderbirds, 2-0
|
Right-hander Caleb Bullock mesmerized the Hamilton Thunderbirds while leading the Nashville Hot Chickens to a 2-0 victory. Bullock got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Bullock allowed no runs. Armando Mata got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
Markus Anderson went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs for Nashville. The 28-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Edgar Morales. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
"What we get, we earn," Anderson told the Nashville Observer.
