Disaster Post 3-2 Win Over Hamilton
|
Port Royal pitcher José Pérez did his part in helping his team beat the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, the Disaster improved to 20-20.
Hambleton Oliver took Claude Simon deep in the top of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Disaster on top, 3-1. In all, Oliver had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I really like what we did out there today," Oliver said after the game.
