Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old center fielder Eric Cowart, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas stopped the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 10-0. Wing-chiu Che got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Thunderbirds to no runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. At 20-19, Sioux Falls is in 6th place in the Menard's AAA.

With Sioux Falls leading 3-0 in the bottom of the third, Cowart hit a fastball from Omar Fabila for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Red Pandas ahead, 6-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Cowart said. "We did a good job of that today."
