Lynx Deal Men 2-0 Setback
|
Calgary got a first-rate effort from pitcher Micheal Bly, who frustrated Florida hitters en route to a 2-0 Lynx triumph at Lynx Stadium. Bly went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-3. The Lynx, with just their 7th win so far in 2051, have yet to catch fire.
José Uranday had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Calgary. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Calgary in front, 2-0.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Calgary skipper Steve Duncan. "I can't complain."
