Blitzkrieg Squelch Men Offense in Shutout Win
|
The timely hitting of Ralph McDonald helped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg down the Florida Men, 5-0. McDonald was 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Blitzkrieg. With the win, Port Huron elevates its record to 10-4.
In the first inning, McDonald had a 2-run double for Port Huron. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Blitzkrieg on top, 3-0.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," McDonald told the Port Huron Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
