Red Pandas Show Moxy in 5-4 Win

Vermont got a decent performance from pitcher John Noble, but it wasn't enough to beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Sioux Falls won the The Bamboo Forest contest, 5-4. Noble threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Sioux Falls, with the win, is 8-2.
Paul Hutchins was the walk-off hero for Sioux Falls. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Pandas second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Hutchins told the Sioux Falls Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
