The Florida Men got a superb performance from pitcher Pedro Negrón, but the Plymouth Rocks still won the game, 5-4. Negrón threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Ramón Echevarría finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The victory makes Plymouth 2-2.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Arabello Ocampo came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Florida pitcher Ted Warner, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Plymouth on top, 5-4.

"Both teams played hard," said Plymouth manager Harris Harden.
