The Port Huron Blitzkrieg powered past the Florida Men, 10-8, at Psychos Ballpark. Ralph McDonald went 1-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3, to lead the charge. Oscar Cates earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Picking up the save was Rich Walker, his 2nd.

Port Huron used the timely hitting of Rob Robinson to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 10-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," McDonald told the Port Huron Gazette.

The victory makes Port Huron 3-0.
