Bowties Prevail, 4-2, Over Toledo
|
The Buckhead Bowties picked up a win at 5 Paces Park, knocking off the Toledo Stingers, 4-2. On the mound for Buckhead was left-hander Aarre Rissanen, who played a pivotal role in the win. Earning his 8th save of the year was Walt Gould. The loss drops the Stingers to 11-8.
Early in the game, left fielder Eugene Hollands had a 2-run home run for Buckhead. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Bowties on top, 2-1.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Rissanen.
