Gaballah Murunga was a major contributor to the 7-4 Montana win over Thunder Bay. The Pandas left fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Salvador Heredia notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 4.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-0. The Northern Lions BC, now 7-12, continue their slow start.

In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Thunder Bay allowed the Pandas to go up, 4-3, on a Thunder Bay error.
