Fading Leviathan Lose 10th Straight
The Panama City Piranhas beat the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 3-0, at The Tank. Starting pitcher Vicente Molina was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Jeffery Meyers got the save, his 6th in 8 chances. The win for the Piranhas raised their record to 55-40.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Domingo Reyes came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Nova Scotia pitcher Joshua Dobson, he hit a 0-2 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Panama City on top, 1-0.

Afterward, Piranhas manager Brian Talamante was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
